Bart Ziegler, or Bartoluciano, has felt the spirit of poetry since childhood, writing notes, rhymes and songs that come to him. After years of collecting little notes, journaling and composing poetry for the women in my life, he finally collected and published the most compelling and close to his heart.
Making Love with Words, his first book, is a compilation of inspirations felt and expressed over the years for the women that have moved him. It contains a lifetime of poetry that took hold of him, stole upon him deep in the night and begged to be written through the experiences in his life. It is a collection of confessions about his love, his longing and his understandings of this world, in a moment in time.
He was born in the midwest, grew up in Alaska, attended high school in Eastern Washington State and came to California to attend UCLA, where he maintained a near-4.0 gpa before leaving to pursue a partnership in a graphic design company. He spent his career as a graphic designer, celebrity portrait illustrator and copywriter before deciding to pursue his dream of writing and sharing his poetic inspiration with the world in 2003. Bartoluciano believes we are all connected by the one Great Spirit that guides this universe. We come into this world as light and leave it the same way. We can leave only our energy behind and take only our lessons and spiritual connections with us. Though he is Christian, he believes all religions and faiths share a common ideal of embracing the angel inside us and connecting to the universe through love and hope.
Through his writings and his words, he invites you to embrace your higher self, and to see life in its perfection in the moment. He believes that love is the greatest treasure in the universe. It is the only one that costs nothing to give and is often the most desired of all gifts. It is the only thing you take with you from this world – and the most lasting thing you can leave behind. He invites you to share your happiness and joy and longing with the world.
