Last week you had a conversation with a friend of mine, (your name), about the possibility of carrying my poetry books.
After reviewing your web site (and/or) visiting your store, (their business) looks like a wonderful place where people enjoy art on many levels. I would be honored to have my books made available to your customers, on a consignment basis.
I will be in (town) in a month or so, around the (insert date); I would like to meet with you, to share my books and show you the display and other point-of-purchase support materials we offer free of charge.
We have four books currently available. These include:

- "Gentle Moments of Flight",
- "Whispers of True Love", and
- "Tears of Ecstasy".
Each of the books has a distinct content focus, so you may choose the books that are best suited to your customers. They include romantic love poems, spiritual pieces (Christian and general), wedding poems and sensual works. All of the books sell well, and are extremely popular with female consumers.
To support the sales of the books, we provide our retailers with a variety of marketing materials, including a free counter-top display, window posters, wall hangers, web-based consumer referrals, and an aggressive incentive(s) program. I am also available for poetry readings and book signing events.
