Sweet Torment
Your loving spirit lingers over me,
But I cannot yet touch all of you.
I know your gentle wanting ecstasy,
But I cannot yet taste your dew.
The miles delay our kindred destiny,
To sweeten our passionate greeting,
Sending sparks of sweet revelry,
Over the reality of our next meeting.
