Fury of the Wind
My life was once an emotional hurricane,
The winds of change lashing, robust,
Threatening destruction to all I would obtain,
Returned ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
Now, in peace, the flurries finally rescind,
Fortunes gail blows steady, no longer unjust,
Like discarded newspaper dancing on the wind,
Screaming headlines of passion and reborn lust.
For you, I have captured the fury of the wind
Driving the illusionary world to flying dust,
It now howls our kindred song, undisciplined,
Of recognition, of renewal, of restored trust.
~ Bartoluciano
