Forever's Immediacy
If I brought perfection to you,
Could you deny the truth of unity?
If I brought gentle love to you,
Could you deny burning possibility?
I stand trembling before you,
Brought to purity under scrutiny.
So I will submit my soul to you,
Dismissing doubt and history.
Come lady, share all of you,
To embrace my perfect affinity,
Lost in final romance with you,
